SECURITY COMPLIANCE PDF Print E-mail

When we utter names like HIPAA, FDIC, OCC, or Sarbanes Oxley does heart your skip a beat and your jaw clench?  If not, this page probably isn’t for you.  If it does though, we’ll wait while you struggle to grab your anti-anxiety meds.

Where does the future of mandatory compliance lead?  Hopefully not down to Carousel.

It’s important to keep client information safe.  For medical practices, banks and other industries, specific groups regarding the protection of this information have been setup.  You may be as shocked as we were to learn that the guidelines these groups setup typically aren’t terribly difficult to follow and border on common sense.

Security Compliance isn’t really a product unto itself.  Sure, we can come in and throw down some security on your system.  But more often, we’re applying it as part of the standard way in which we work.  We build compliance directly into the way we setup and maintain your gear.  It’s why you’ll burn us in effigy for making your password change every so often and why you’re computer continually locks it self when you walk away.

Long story short- we get it.  We understand that a hobnailed boot of mandated compliance is coming down on your face.  Unlike the IT guy whose chief asset is that he once was the roommate of your boss’s brother’s nephew, we realize that there’s a bigger picture to this whole thing.  We think beyond single pieces of gear, past the technology and consider your business and its respective compliance before we advocate the purchase of the seven point surround sound system for the receptionist's laptop.
